BUILDING ACCESS
All card read doors will lock on their regular schedule Wednesday November 24th and require a valid Mcard for access through the weekend. Scheduled hours will resume on Monday, November 29th.
SCREENING
U-M faculty, staff and students on U-M property or in a U-M facility are required to complete a daily health assessment through the ResponsiBLUE tool before they enter the building or property: Visit responsiblue.umich.edu. Visitors, contractors, vendors and guests must use the guest version of ResponsiBLUE before entering any U-M Building: Visit guest.responsiblue.umich.edu.
DOCK SERVICES
There will be no dock services or M-Ship services over the Thanksgiving holiday. NCRC Dock 90 (2800 Plymouth Road), Medical School Receiving Dock 6 (1150 West Medical Center Drive) and BSRB Receiving Dock 7 (109 Zina Pitcher) will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday from Wednesday, November 24th at 4:00PM, with the exception of NCRC Dock 90 which closes at 5:00PM, until Monday, November 29th at 7:00AM. Please notify vendors of dock closings when placing orders. Contact Research Services (734) 763-0773 if you have any questions or concerns.
RESEARCH SERVICES
There will be no glass-wash or biohazard waste pickup services on Thursday, November 25th or Friday, November 26th.
Please note, clinical operations will be supported through the Thanksgiving holiday.

CUSTODIAL SERVICES
Limited custodial service will be provided during the Thanksgiving holiday in all buildings. There will be no trash pickup in offices or labs, but you may use one of the multiple trash gondolas placed in various common areas, as well as the kitchenette to dispose of trash during this time. Call the Facilities Service Center (734) 647-2059 if there are additional needs.

GROUNDS SERVICE (Snow Removal)
Limited grounds service will be provided during the Thanksgiving holiday. Please use the main building entrances in the event of a heavy snow. These will be the first locations to be cleared, along with service areas. Use caution when walking on any surface as conditions can change quickly. Call the Facilities Service Center (734) 647-2059 if any areas need additional attention.
CAFE & VENDING SERVICES
The Market Twenty 4 Seven in BSRB, NCRC and MSRB 3 will be stocked on Wednesday, November 24th and restocked on Saturday, November 27th.
ENERGY REDUCTION
Please do your part to help reduce our utility consumption and make a positive impact on the environment by:
- Turning off all unused office equipment, such as computers, monitors, printers, fans, coffee makers, and task lighting, and unplugging cell phone chargers
- Closing windows to prevent water pipes and sprinkler heads from freezing
SAFETY
Throughout campus we need your help to maintain a safe and secure environment. Please remind your staff, faculty, and student colleagues to complete the following before they leave their work, research or living areas for the weekend:
- Close and lock all windows and doors
- Secure valuables and lock desks and closets
- Ensure the safe shutdown of labs that will not be operational over the holiday (cap chemicals, shut down equipment, etc.)
- Call DPSS for any hazardous or radioactive spills
HEALTH INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY & SERVICES (HITS)
