Health Information Technology & Services (HITS)
Health Information Technology & Services (HITS) provides IT services and support to the faculty, staff, and students of the University of Michigan Medical School. Whether you want to request A/V services, need technical support, or have questions about partnering with HITS on a project — the HITS Service Desk is the front door for your request.
Desktop / end-user support
Support is available 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
Authorized staff can use the Online Service Center (OSC) to order, change, and cancel telephone services, as well as order telecommunications equipment and accessories.

NCRC partners with multiple University IT units to provide IT infrastructure and services, including network and phone services, high-performance computing and other specialized research infrastructure, collaboration/communications services and end-user support. NCRC partners include Information Technology Services (ITS) and Health Information Technology & Services (HITS) .
Help Me Now Walk-In Service
The HITS Help Me Now Office is open in Building 18, room G018, next to the MCard office.
Help Me Now is available Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm.

(24-hour notice required)
Loaner Equipment available at NCRC:
- Polycom HD videoconferencing units
- Mobile projection screens
- Laptops (Mac and PC)
- Chat 160 audioconferencing units
HITS staff are available for on-site assistance prior to your event, and can also be contacted in the case of equipment malfunction.
